Chinmaya Mission Bala Vihar offers weekly Hindu culture and spiritual classes for the entire family through,

• Age-based curriculum on Hindu Scriptures
• Stories, interactive discussions and fun-filled activities
• Celebration of festivals with the whole family
• Special satsang for all the parents

Located in New Hyde Park, convenient Sunday morning sessions! We’re excited to announce that Queens Long Island Bala Vihar (QLIBV) is now enrolling for the Fall of 2024 starting 15 September 2024. We serve our growing communities in Queens and Long Island by offering an easily accessible  location and time.

We invite your family to enjoy a Sunday morning with us. Your family will have the opportunity to attend prayers and assembly, Bala Vihar classes for children, satsang for parents, mingle with community members and meet our Bala Vihar team. We ask all our attendees to remove their shoes and silence their phones before entering the classroom area.

SCHEDULE:

8:30 am – 9:00 am
Online Bhagavad Gita Chanting Class

10:00 am – 11:00 am
Classroom sessions for children and teens
Accompanying parents attend an information session

11:05 am – 11:30 am
Assembly, Closing prayers, Aarti and Prasad

KEY REMINDERS:

• Prior registration is required for attending the open house.
• Doors open at 9:45 am.
• Remove your shoes and silence your mobile phones.
• At least one parent must stay for the entire duration of the open house and attend the information session.
